Senior Data Engineer

You will design, develop, maintain and support our Data Warehouse & BI platform within Getsafe using various data & BI tools. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the data architecture of a 21st century insurtech in developing data tools and advancing a data-driven culture. YOUR MISSION Analyze, design, develop, and deliver Data Warehouse solutions in a fast-paced, time-constrained environment. Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Airflow. Design, develop, and support Getsafe's Data Warehouse and BI platform using various data and BI tools. Create ad-hoc applications to support data users and automate processes where possible. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and build solutions that help them. Communicate technical and business information effectively through written, verbal, and presentation formats as needed., Understanding of distributed computing and database architecture. Getsafe is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team. We are building a state of the art analytics platform for business intelligence and reporting. Our platform allows users to answer "what", "when" and "how" questions., Over 4 years+ of experience building data pipelines, particularly in data ingestion, using SQL, Python, and Airflow. Strong experience designing Data Marts, Data Warehouses, and relational database objects. Hands-on experience running software in the cloud, including infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform. Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities. Highly analytical and organized, able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
