Job description
Provide field technical service and troubleshooting for industrial equipment, including installation, maintenance, repair, and software support. Coordinate with customers and equipment manufacturers to define specifications, resolve technical issues, and implement effective solutions. Develop and execute test programs, create technical procedures, and deliver operation and software training to customers and internal staff. Support sales activities through technical consultations, machinery demonstrations, trade shows, and participation in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Maintain accurate service records and submit internal and manufacturer reports as required. Escalate technical issues appropriately and communicate field updates to the Engineering Manager in a timely manner. Provide feedback to manufacturers to support continuous product and quality improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
3 years of experience in electronics or industrial equipment, including automation or manufacturing systems. Hands-on experience in field service, technical support, or product support for physical equipment. Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial machinery. Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and CAD software for technical tasks. Good communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams. Willingness to travel 1-2 times per month to customer sites for on-site support. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred. Prior field service or customer support experience a plus. Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
