Job description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Lead with deep expertise in IBM TRIRIGA and the Maximo Real Estate & Facilities (MREF) module. This SME-level role provides strategic leadership, architectural oversight, and end-to-end execution support for enterprise applications during the migration of NASA's MSFC and HQ TRIRIGA environments to the Office of Strategic Infrastructure's (OSI) MREF module within the Maximo Application Suite (MAS)., * Provide overall project management oversight, including planning, risk identification, stakeholder coordination, and execution strategy for MREF initiatives

  • Ensure sustainment and operational continuity of MSFC and HQ TRIRIGA environments throughout the migration lifecycle
  • Lead and manage dual-environment operations to maintain uninterrupted service during transition
  • Provide architectural leadership and technical strategy aligned with Agency IT governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture standards
  • Direct planning and execution of migration activities from TRIRIGA to OSI MREF within MAS
  • Oversee TRIRIGA license-to-MREF AppPoint conversion strategy for compliance and entitlement alignment
  • Ensure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy through comprehensive validation and oversight
  • Establish migration cutover strategies, rollback plans, and risk mitigation approaches
  • Validate post-migration system configurations, integrations, workflows, and security controls
  • Review backend architecture to ensure compatibility with MAS/MREF performance, infrastructure, and integration requirements
  • Lead enterprise configuration governance and change control processes
  • Identify opportunities for process standardization, workflow modernization, and operational efficiency improvements
  • Validate and modernize reporting capabilities, ensuring accuracy of standard and custom reports
  • Coordinate upgrades, enhancements, and migration tasks with stakeholders, leadership, and technical teams
  • Develop and execute application test plans and lead system verification activities
  • Collaborate with OSI Program Managers, OCIO, and cross-agency stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance
  • Provide technical review and approval of system enhancements, reporting updates, and configuration changes
  • Lead TRIRIGA decommissioning strategy, including data archival, system shutdown, and access removal
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements during system retirement and access deprovisioning

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The ideal candidate will ensure system continuity throughout the transition, maintain strict data integrity standards, drive enterprise configuration governance, and support the long-term sustainability and modernization of the MREF environment. Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance. Must reside within 50 miles of a NASA Center, * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Facility/Asset Management, or related field

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in enterprise application management (TRIRIGA, MREF, or Maximo/MAS)
  • Proven experience leading TRIRIGA-to-MAS/MREF migrations, including dual-environment sustainment and cutover planning
  • Strong expertise in enterprise application architecture, integration frameworks, and cybersecurity alignment
  • Experience ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and compliance across large-scale system migrations
  • Proficiency with SQL, enterprise reporting tools, and data validation methodologies
  • Strong understanding of backup, recovery, and system continuity practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex systems
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience working across leadership, technical teams, vendors, and federal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide governance across enterprise environments, * Experience with IBM MAS containerized deployments (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
  • Experience with predictive maintenance or advanced facilities management capabilities
  • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA) and Agency-level IT governance
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Cognos, BIRT, or Power BI
  • Experience supporting large-scale federal facilities, real estate, or asset management programs
