Job description

We are seeking a skilled ICT Engineer to support our electronics manufacturing operations in Grapevine, TX. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing in-circuit testing processes to ensure the quality and functionality of printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies., Test Development

  • Design, develop, and implement ICT programs for PCB assemblies
  • Create and customize test fixtures for both prototype and production builds
  • Work with ATE systems such as TRI, Teradyne, Keysight (Agilent), or SPEA

Debugging & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve issues within test setups and equipment
  • Analyze failures at the component level (resistors, ICs, capacitors, etc.)
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions

Collaboration

  • Partner with design and hardware teams to improve testability
  • Provide input on manufacturability and test coverage

Failure Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct root cause analysis on failures
  • Generate reports on defects, trends, and quality metrics

Equipment Maintenance

  • Calibrate and maintain ICT equipment for accuracy and reliability
  • Perform software and hardware updates as needed

Continuous Improvement

  • Optimize test coverage and reduce test time
  • Implement automation to improve efficiency and consistency

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure adherence to IPC, ISO, and internal quality standards
  • Validate compliance with schematics, BOMs, and QA processes

Training & Documentation

  • Train technicians on ICT processes and equipment
  • Develop clear documentation for test procedures and troubleshooting

Requirements

If you have a strong background in PCB testing, troubleshooting, and automated test equipment (ATE), this is a great opportunity to work in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment., * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in PCB testing and ICT program development
  • Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of PCB assembly and circuit design principles
  • Experience reading schematics, Gerber files, and PCB layouts
  • Familiarity with tools such as Altium, Eagle, or KiCad
  • Hands-on experience with ICT equipment (TRI, Teradyne, Keysight, GenRad, SPEA)
  • Proficiency with debugging tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, analyzers)
  • Programming experience (C, Python, LabVIEW, or similar)
  • Knowledge of JTAG/boundary scan testing is a plus
  • Experience with test automation in manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610 preferred)

Preferred Certifications

  • IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001
  • Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
  • Vendor-specific certifications (Teradyne, Keysight, etc.)

  • Moderate noise levels and varying temperatures
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs)
