IT Manager

We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to oversee and support all aspects of our technology environment. This role is responsible for maintaining infrastructure, supporting business-critical systems, and ensuring reliable day-to-day IT operations across the organization., Infrastructure and Networking

• Manage and support network infrastructure including Cisco Meraki firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
• Administer and maintain UniFi switch environments and network configurations
• Monitor network performance, uptime, and security
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across multiple locations and remote users

Systems and Server Administration

• Manage Windows Server environments (2019/2022+)
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access controls
• Maintain virtualized environments (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
• Oversee file servers, application servers, and remote desktop environments

Cloud and Microsoft Administration

• Manage Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Administer user provisioning, licensing, and security policies
• Support hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud integration)
• Assist with Azure infrastructure and services where applicable

Business Systems and Applications

• Support and maintain McLeod TMS, including configuration, troubleshooting, and integrations
• Manage Samsara telematics platform and related data integrations
• Provide support for internal users across business-critical applications

Data and Reporting

• Develop and maintain SQL-based reports
• Write and optimize queries to support operational and reporting needs
• Work with internal teams to deliver data insights

Security and Backup

• Manage endpoint protection and security tools
• Oversee backup systems and disaster recovery processes
• Ensure adherence to company security policies and best practices

Vendor and IT Operations

• Coordinate with third-party vendors, MSPs, and software providers
• Manage IT projects and system upgrades
• Provide end-user support and escalate complex issues as needed
• Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and configurations

This position requires a well-rounded IT professional capable of working across networking, servers, cloud platforms, business applications, and data systems in a fast-paced logistics environment., * 5+ years of hands-on IT experience in a multi-system environment

• Strong experience with networking, including Cisco Meraki, switching, and VPNs
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
• Working knowledge of SQL (queries and reporting)
• Ability to troubleshoot across infrastructure, applications, and user environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with McLeod TMS
• Experience with Samsara or similar telematics platforms
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or brokerage environments
• Familiarity with EDI transactions (204, 214, 210, 990), * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment with broad responsibilities
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, business-critical environment
