Job description
- Resolve VPN, Wi-Fi, and remote-access issues for users in the shop, at home, and traveling
- Manage accounts, MFA, password resets, and onboarding in Microsoft 365 / Azure AD
- Help users with suspicious emails - flag, escalate, and advise as needed
- Map shared drives, manage SharePoint permissions, and support the Microsoft 365 suite
- Document and resolve tickets; confirm resolution before closing
Requirements
- Windows endpoint troubleshooting (OS, drivers, peripherals, remote desktop)
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN client configuration
- Microsoft 365 / Azure AD admin: user provisioning, MFA, Exchange basics
- Comfort with help desk ticketing and clear written documentation
- Professional, jargon-free communication with users of all technical levels
Nice to Have
- Intune, conditional access policies, basic PowerShell
- Interest in R/C, electronics, 3D printing, or maker-space tools
- Experience supporting shared workspace or membership-based environments
