Job description

Since 1995, Designs for Learning (DL) has brought a broad range of experience to the complex and inter-related tasks of founding, developing, managing and growing self-sufficient charter schools. We are unique -- we can cost-effectively carry out services for our clients -- but we also can train and equip their staff to perform these tasks. By partnering with our clients, we can continuously tailor services that will meet their changing needs.

Requirements

This is a full time, in-person position, 30 (minimum) - 40 hours per week based on company needs and projects, pay is based on experience. This is an amazing learning opportunity, working with many different network environments and technology support services. We are seeking:

  • 2-3 years of technology related experience is required (AA preferred);
  • A self-motivated individual who is able to work independently at client sites;
  • Someone interested in learning and using a wide range of technology skills;
  • Someone with strong troubleshooting skills;
  • Must have car and be able to drive to different client sites around the twin cities area;
  • Continued employment is contingent on successful background check and drug screening

Work Environment

You will be working with mostly small networks at small public charter schools as well as the Designs for Learning office systems, directed from project to project by a technology manager. Client networks typically have a Microsoft server, teacher/student computers, switches, firewalls, etc.
