The Full-Time Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist at Owen Health Care will play a vital role in managing the full-cycle recruitment process for a diverse range of clinical, administrative, operational, and leadership positions. This position entails posting job openings on various platforms, conducting initial phone screenings, and scheduling interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a seamless communication loop with candidates throughout the hiring process. You will develop and maintain candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill roles while tracking all recruitment activities using our HRIS/ATS system.
Additionally, you will oversee the onboarding process by preparing new hire packets, coordinating background checks, scheduling orientations, and maintaining an organized workflow. As a representative of Owen Health Care at career fairs and community outreach events, you will help foster a positive candidate experience, ensuring timely and professional communication. Your contributions will be essential for enhancing employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational success.
Requirements
To excel as a Full-Time Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist at Owen Health Care, candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, with HR certification like PHR or SHRM-CP being a valuable bonus. A background of 2-3 years in recruiting, onboarding, or HR administration, particularly within the healthcare or human services sectors, is essential. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of recruitment processes, HR compliance, and onboarding procedures. Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite is required, coupled with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
