Job description
- Define enterprise architecture spanning data, analytics, and AI layers including Medallion Architecture adoption
- Design scalable data models supporting business intelligence, advanced analytics, and AI/ML workloads
- Develop frameworks for Data Object/Products Catalogs and Data Marketplace in a Data Lakehouse Architecture
- Align transactional, analytical, and AI consumption layers leveraging SAP and Non-SAP enterprise platforms/tools
- Translate business needs into architecture
- Align Business and Information Technology (IT) Stakeholders on transitional and end state architecture
- Build enterprise knowledge graph across business domains in SAP and Enterprise Business Systems Business Segments-
- Align Core Data Services (CDS) Views, Datasphere models, and semantic layers
- Enable relationship modeling, lineage, and AI enrichment including semantic search and reasoning
- Architect, Design and Deploy CSN-based models for consumption within SAP and Non-SAP applications landscape
- Design AI-ready data architecture across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems Integrate with Databricks and/or Snowflake platform foundation
- Enable Large Language Models (LLM)-based use cases (RAG, embeddings, vector search)
- Build Artificial Intelligence AI-ready datasets and feature pipelines
- Integrate knowledge graph with AI systems for semantic reasoning
- Define governance framework for data products including fine grains role and attribute based access controls
- Ensure lineage, metadata, quality, and compliance using capabilities
- Enable data stewardship and Data cataloging/Data Marketplace
- Enhance HANA and Data Lakehouse pushdown optimization
- Optimize SQL, SparQL and pipeline performance tuning
Requirements
The ideal candidate will combine deep SAP S/4HANA expertise with strong enterprise architecture, data governance, and technical leadership skills to guide implementation, optimization, and modernization efforts., * 10+ years of experience in SAP architecture
- 10+ years of experience leading delivery of SAP solution development efforts including functional and technical solutions
- Expertise with SAP HANA Platform including; Code-to-Data paradigm and (OData) Open data Protocol, (CDS) Core Data Service views, and (AMDP) ABAP Managed Database Procedure
- Expertise with SAP IDOC Integration, Workflow and ABAP programming
- 10+ years of experience working on interfaces connecting SAP and non-SAP systems (IDOCs - Intermediate documents, BAPIs - Business Application Programming Interface, RFCs - Remote Function Calls and Customs programs.), * SAP S/4HANA Certification
- 1+ year of experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for Business data Cloud development.
- TOGAF Certification
- Experience in U.S Aerospace & Defense and Manufacturing (A & D) industries
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
- Experience in leading SAP development teams, working with global system integrators and A & D business leaders
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills to interact with leadership teams
- Experience with SAP system landscape architecture and governance processes
- Experience in defense contract-driven SAP development, and mission-critical system optimizations
