Design Engineer (3 Yrs Exp Req)

Design and draft custom sheet metal components using Solid Edge, including parametric 3D models and production-ready 2D drawings

• Interpret project requirements and develop efficient, manufacturable design solutions from concept through fabrication release

• Generate precise flat patterns, bills of materials, and fabrication drawings for production handoff

• Partner with the production team to validate designs against manufacturing constraints and quality standards

• Manage multiple concurrent projects and reprioritize dynamically in response to urgent production needs

• Identify and implement continuous improvements in design workflow and fabrication processes, * Describe a time when you had to visualize a complex design or layout from a 2D drawing/blueprint. How did you use your spatial reasoning skills to understand the overall picture and ensure accuracy?

This is a high-ownership, production-facing role that requires a technically rigorous, self-directed individual capable of delivering accurate designs under tight timelines with minimal supervision., Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum of three years of experience in mechanical design engineering within a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency in Solid Edge or SolidWorks; must be willing to transition to Solid Edge

• Strong knowledge of sheet metal layout, forming, and fabrication processes

• Parametric design experience

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
