Q's Ministry / BHITS is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing education, research, community services, and digital innovation. The organization develops integrated systems, analytics platforms, and digital tools to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and community impact., We are seeking a Digital Operations & Analytics Coordinator with a strong focus on Business Analysis, Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence.
In this role, the candidate will develop dashboards, perform data and BI analysis, support business process API development and automation, and contribute to system integration and workflow optimization. The position also includes responsibilities as a Project Coordinator, tracking project activities and ensuring alignment across initiatives.
This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in data analytics, BI, project management, system design, and digital transformation in a real-world nonprofit environment., Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau
- Perform data analysis using SQL, R, and Python
- Generate insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Monitor and evaluate analytics across Shopify store, Turbify website, iOS and Android app platforms
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Conduct gap analysis and workflow optimization initiatives
- Support development of Business Process APIs and automation solutions
- Assist in system integration and improving data flow across platforms
Digital Operations & Analytics Monitoring
- Track and analyze SEO performance, digital inventory, and user engagement metrics
- Provide reporting and feedback on digital operations and service performance
- Ensure accurate tracking of projects, analytics outputs, and work products
Project Coordination
- Track project activities, tasks, timelines, and deliverables
- Support project lifecycle management and milestone tracking
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of system outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, leadership, and stakeholders
Training & Learning Objectives

Through active participation in projects, collaboration with engineers and mentors, and application of industry tools, the candidate will gain real-time experience and progressively strengthen technical, analytical, and project management capabilities over time.
Supervision & Mentorship
- Direct supervision by Dr. Kiumars Lalezarzadeh
- Weekly team meetings to review tasks, goals, and deliverables
- Continuous feedback and structured guidance
- Detailed task tracking and daily activity review through timesheets
- Quarterly and periodic evaluations to ensure progress and skill development
Performance Evaluation
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Completion of assigned tasks and bi-weekly reporting
- Achievement of project milestones (interim and final deliverables)
- Quality and impact of dashboards, analytics, and system outputs
- Contribution to operational improvements across ministry services, research, and business functions
Regular staff reviews and continuous feedback ensure consistent performance improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field
- Experience with:
- SQL
- Power BI and/or Tableau
- R or Python (basic to intermediate)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
- Familiarity with ETL, data modeling, and workflow automation
- Experience with tools like Excel (Power Query), Jira, or similar platforms
- Interest in nonprofit, research, or community-focused work
