Job description
We are seeking a Level 1 Desktop Support Technician for a short-term 4-6 week engagement supporting end-user computing environments. This role will focus on basic desktop support functions, including workstation setup, light troubleshooting, and user assistance., * Perform end-user device setups (desktops, laptops, peripherals)
- Assist with basic operating system tasks (imaging, updates, configurations)
- Provide Level 1 troubleshooting for hardware and software issues
- Support light break-fix activities on desktop equipment
- Respond to user requests and document work performed
Requirements
- Prior experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk environments
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common business applications
- Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
