Job description

We are pleased to announce the opening of a Subject Matter Expert III - Technologies and Capabilities Cyber, who will join our Engineering Services Division in the National Capital Region (NCR) and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control market spaces. Qualified candidates will be part of an exceptional team supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) Research, Development, Test & Evaluation, Engineering, and Technical Support (RETS) IDIQ contract providing cyber technical expertise and joining our team of industry partners and technical subject matter experts in delivering engineering Research, Development, Test, Evaluation (RDT&E) solutions and services. The candidate will serve as a key senior member of the RETS technical team., * Provide technical expertise related to cyber engineering and cyberspace test and evaluation

  • Support the analysis, assessment, demonstration, testing, and/or experimentation of cyber capabilities.
  • Participate in research, development, integration, and testing of innovative technologies for both offensive and defensive cyber.
  • Evaluate and validate sensor system performance, effectiveness, and operational feasibility.
  • Recommend assessments to determine system performance to risks.
  • Provide technical support to the complex, technical RETS IDIQ and relevant Task Orders (TOs) and confer with IDIQ task order project managers to provide technical advice and to assist with problem resolution.
  • Provide mission engineering, modeling & simulation, developmental test & evaluation, and operations research support.
  • Review technical data and documentation and provide analyses and recommendations.

Requirements

  • You must have a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related science.
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience related to cyber engineering and cyberspace test and evaluation.
  • At least five (5) years demonstrated experience in program management.
  • Must meet certification requirements per applicable DoD Directives and DoD Instructions. Must have relevant industry credentials such as:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
  • Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC)
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • You must possess TS Clearance w/ Eligibility for SCI. An active TS/SCI clearance with previous SAP experience is preferred.
  • You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position., * Military or Department of War experience.
  • History of highest-quality deliverables in a complex delivery model supporting multiple customers and stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience in communicating on complex technical subject matter with DoD and other US Government senior leadership.
  • Experience leading technical collaboration with DoD and Service S&T centers, National Laboratories, and FFRDC and UARC organizations.
  • Strong familiarity and relationships across non-DoD and commercial technology providers in key modernization priority areas.
  • Knowledge of OUSD(R&E)) organization and technology modernization processes.
  • Recent DoD Special Access Programs experience.
