Job description

Methfessel & Werbel located in Edison, NJ is seeking an IT Support Technician. The qualified candidate would have both proven experience and knowledge supporting and troubleshooting various Microsoft applications. In this role, you will work closely with our outsourcing IT partner to manage day-to-day systems for technologically advanced law firm. This role requires strong mid-level technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction., * Maintain and monitor end-user workstations.

  • Maintenance of Servers, Network, Storage devices and printers including physical and virtual servers, LAN and WiFi equipment and NAS storage devices.
  • Provide timely support of users in conjunction with our MSP support team including resolving issues with printing, Zoom and Teams meetings and the applications used in the office.
  • Process large data intakes involving conversion of various file formats to PDF when possible, audio and video conversions, email dumps in several different formats etc. Use of various applications and scripts to process the files.
  • Onboarding and offboarding employees.
  • Maintain in house web-based Billing Menu application as well as externally hosted company website.
  • Logistical duties include requesting quotes, ordering equipment, maintaining licenses.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows Server administration?, * Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player.
  • Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Ability to problem solve at a high level, extraordinary customer service skills, strong multi-tasking, and organizational skills.

Ideal Qualifications (familiarity)

  • Microsoft365, particularly in hybrid AD environment.
  • Salesforce (specifically Litify).
  • Windows.
  • Hyper-V.
  • VMware.
  • Knowledge of PHP, javascript, vbscript and powershell helpful.
