Job description

We are seeking a dynamic IT Network Engineer to join our team and strengthen our IT infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and maintain robust network systems that support our manufacturing operations and corporate functions. You will be instrumental in ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency of our network environment across multiple locations., * Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructure.

  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and server racks.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and security issues.
  • Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls.
  • Perform network upgrades, patching, and system improvements with minimal downtime.
  • Manage and support cloud-based services such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and operations teams on infrastructure projects.
  • Support compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO, SOC 2) as applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with networking equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar.
  • Familiarity with firewall configuration and network security best practices.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux server environments and server rack management.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
