Job description
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.
- Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design.
- Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model.
- Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).
- Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
- Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2 years of applicable engineering experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- 1+ years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations or 1+ years of experience with Model-Based Engineering / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW
- 1+ years of experience with one or more of the following: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, communications systems, facility design, military aerospace development, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering discipline or other STEM field of study or a master's degree and 5 years of related experience master's degree with 3 years. PhD with 1 year.
- Must be a US Citizen with an ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- 1+ years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate (e.g., CalTech SE Fundamentals)
- 1+ years of experience with Model-Based Engineering / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate (e.g., CalTech MBSE)
- 1+ years of experience with one or more of the following: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems/processes, communications systems, facility design, military aerospace development (e.g. Sentinel, Minute Man III, B-2, B-21 delivery systems)
- Self-driven, able to tackle challenges, solve problems with minimal oversight and make recommendations for solutions/process improvement to leadership, * Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model
- Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages
- Proficiency with the DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks
- Experience with scripting and coding languages such as Python
- Experience with Agile Development
- Experience with ICBM weapon system sustainment engineering and integration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $131,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $163,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
