Job description

  • Develop and program Crestron control systems according to project specifications using Crestron programming software.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and technicians to ensure system designs meet client needs and technical standards.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and perform system testing to guarantee optimal performance before installation.
  • Assist with system commissioning, including configuring hardware components, setting up cabling, and verifying connectivity.
  • Provide field service support by diagnosing and resolving system issues during installation and post-installation phases.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to facilitate accurate system integration.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on control systems, update software firmware, and document all programming changes thoroughly.

  • Strong electrical background with knowledge of low voltage wiring, cabling techniques, and schematics interpretation.
  • Familiarity with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles, telecommunication systems, and basic computer hardware troubleshooting.
  • Ability to use hand tools safely for installation tasks and mechanical knowledge for equipment setup.
  • Experience in field service roles involving troubleshooting software issues and performing system maintenance.
  • Knowledge of wiring practices for low voltage systems including audio/video, lighting control, security interfaces, and telecommunication infrastructure.
