Job description
SDA Solutions is seeking a Data Scientist I to support a federal program in Suffolk, VA. This is an onsite role focused on delivering data-driven insights, developing business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, and supporting data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, visualization, and automation, along with experience designing solutions in Office 365 environments., * Analyze, interpret, and standardize large datasets to support business and mission needs
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
- Design and build business applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
- Create and manage automated workflows to improve operational efficiency
- Integrate data from multiple sources using Power Query and other tools
- Support database design, data management, and data engineering activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with security and organizational policies
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation for developed solutions
Requirements
Do you have experience in SharePoint?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Active Secret Clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing solutions in Office 365 and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Power BI)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting government clients, * Experience using Power FX for advanced application functionality
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and data modeling
- Experience with data engineering and database management
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment, * Candidates must be able to work in a secure government environment, * Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Must be authorized to work in the United States, * How many years of experience do you have with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online)?
- How many years of experience do you have building dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)?
