Job description
As an Applications Engineer, you'll be involved across the full lifecycle of modern A/V and visualization solutions:
- Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for advanced audio/visual and VR systems.
- Create back-end control system programming that automates and simplifies complex technology environments.
- Configure, commission, and troubleshoot devices such as touch panels, projectors, audio DSPs, and related A/V components.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to design solutions that meet both technical and user needs.
- Provide technical support and services to ensure successful system integrations and long-term performance.
- Travel to client sites to help ensure installed systems are operating at their best and delivering an exceptional user experience.
Requirements
- Programming in C# and React + TypeScript.
- Computer science or related degree, preferably a bachelor's degree. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working on team-based technical projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the persistence to work through challenging technical issues.
- A sense of ownership and pride in delivering high quality solutions.
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
- Experience interacting with AI tools, especially programming assistants like GitHub, Copilot or Claude Code.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, multicast).
- Prior exposure to A/V systems, control systems, or immersive/visualization environments.
- Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders on technical solutions.
- Knowledge of Python, or the motivation to learn., Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
