Job description

CSi Networks is looking for our next IT Systems Engineer. We're looking for a candidate with a high level of customer service to maintain and support network infrastructure, device and business applications, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems and implement solutions. Interpersonal communication is essential while providing technical support to our end users. An ideal candidate would be someone with a heart for customer service, ability to learn quickly, strong critical thinking skills, and a hunger for growth. Advancement opportunities will be available., * Support and maintain cloud, hybrid and traditional network infrastructures

  • Provide technical support on hardware and software including remote and VPN users
  • Setup and maintain site-to-site VPNS, VLANs, SSL VPN, Layer 3 routing, and other related technologies
  • Support and maintain DNS, Active Directory, WINS, DHCP, Exchange (hosted and on-premise), IIS, and other related technologies
  • Proactively identify and fix problems uncovered by testing, alerts and/or user communication
  • Maintain user profiles, server platforms, end-user workstations
  • Maintain and audit software licenses
  • Perform systems backups and recovery procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades for IT infrastructure
  • Install, configure, migrate, troubleshoot email clients
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed with reliable transportation
  • Helping and extending support to the existing IT team in all functions
  • Manage incoming Help Desk activity courteously , timely, and effective resolution of end user issues
  • Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Record events, problems and resolutions in our ticketing system

Requirements

  • Microsoft 365 deployment & management capabilities
  • Familiarity with Windows 8/10/11
  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Familiarity with Exchange Server 2013/2016/2019
  • Familiarity with Router/Switch/Firewall/VLAN/Wireless/VPN
  • Familiarity with Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/WINS
  • Azure Setup & Administration
  • Ability to troubleshoot mapped drives.
  • Familiar with Active Directory.
  • Understanding of VoIP Technologies
  • Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter, quick learner, critical thinker, ability to perform well under pressure, A college degree is not required, but compensation commensurate with experience (college and/or in-field experience), * High school or equivalent (Preferred), * Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
