Data Center Operations Coordinator

Looking for Infrastructure Procurement Analyst/Infrastructure-Aware Procurement Operator. Will be responsible for engagement and logistics for hosting and data services for midrange compute; need to be understanding of infrastructure. Knowledge of various servers (windows, linux, unix, aix for example), various IBM or HP hardware, etc)

Responsible for:

• Validating requirements and processing midrange compute requests.
• Procuring servers and integrated rack components through established workflows (e.g., expense management, purchase requests, and purchase orders).
• Managing inventory logistics, including tracking, allocation, and availability.
• Completion of all engagement and logistics tasks for assigned projects.
• Coordinating shipment and delivery of compute hardware to data centers.
• Facilitating effective communication and coordination with internal partners, external vendors, and consumers.
• Can translate business/technical requirements into procurement actions

• Midrange server hardware and infrastructure experience (2+ years).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Project management experience.
• Service request fulfillment experience.
• Pro-active work ethic with the ability to work independently as well as with guidance.
