About the Role:

  • Lead the operational work streams for various FX (Foreign Exchange) accelerated growth projects
  • Deliver global, scalable, cloud-based platform solutions, using rapid development continuous integration and open source technology
  • Build and operate mission-critical systems that are scalable, redundant and reliable
  • Oversees the procurement, design, installation, and maintenance of all computing resources, and the supplies necessary to keep systems operable and fully functional.
  • Oversees and participates in IT vendor contract negotiations for all technology related equipment, data center services, third-party software licensing and system requirements.
  • Plan, develop and test the disaster recovery strategy for the organization, balancing business continuity requirements and cost constraints
  • Evaluate existing workflows, controls and procedures and implement process-driven and data-driven improvements where necessary
  • Scale operations to drive growth through standardization and automation
  • Provides leadership, support, guidance, and individual development to diverse global FX Operations team in multiple time zones
  • Engage business leads, stakeholders, and peers across the organization; ensure service quality, customer satisfaction, and risk excellence
  • Anticipate critical issues and risks and take responsibility for resolution

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited university; advanced degree a plus
  • 5-8+ years experience managing a global trading support environment
  • Database experience and a strong background in programming a plus
  • Strong technical understanding of critical hosted systems
  • Experience using web and CRM technologies to automate operation and enhance UX
  • Proven leadership and strong team management experience in a client services operations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, other languages a plus
  • Ability to radiate a calm and professional demeanor in a high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows, SQL, and networking; Public and Private Cloud ecosystems
  • Capital markets and FX knowledge and experience a must
  • Self-motivated, high output work ethic
