Job description
30% Automation, Scripting, & Tooling: Use PowerShell, Azure CLI tools, or basic scripting to automate repetitive operational tasks. Assist in building and maintaining infrastructure templates and standardized deployment patterns. Support CI/CD and automation initiatives in partnership with application, data, and integration teams.
20% Azure Cloud Operations & Administration: Support day-to-day administration of Azure resources including compute, storage, networking, and platform services. Assist with provisioning and maintaining environments across Development, Test, and Production. Help manage subscriptions, resource groups, access permissions, and standard configurations.
15% Platform Support (Data, Integration, & SaaS Enablement): Support Azure components that underpin data platforms such as Databricks (networking, permissions, storage integration). Assist with enabling connectivity and security requirements for SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite). Work with senior team members to understand integration and platform dependencies.
15% Security, Governance, & Monitoring: Assist with implementing role-based access control (RBAC), tagging standards, and basic governance policies. Help maintain monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and related tooling. Participate in operational reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
10% AI & Modern Tool Enablement: Help enable and support use of AI-enabled tools and Azure services in a secure, governed manner. Learn best practices for responsible AI usage, access controls, and operational support. Assist teams with adopting new tools that improve productivity and service delivery.
10% Documentation, Collaboration, & Learning: Maintain clear documentation of environments, processes, and operational procedures. Learn from senior teammates and gradually take ownership of defined cloud components. Participate in team discussions, technical planning, and skills development activities.
Requirements

- Desired Technical Exposure (Not All Required):
- Microsoft Azure fundamentals (VNets, VMs, storage, access control)
- Windows Server or Linux system administration concepts
- Basic understanding of networking and security principles
- Familiarity with automation, CI/CD, or infrastructure-as-code concepts, * Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
- Ability to perform all physical functions consistent with travel including sitting in airplanes and driving for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 30 lbs
