Job description
Description: This job is responsible for supervising, planning, coordinating, and leading computer-related systems and processes to support operations efficiently and cost effectively. The role will supervise technical professionals while maintaining responsibility for departmental operations. The IT Supervisor's essential functions will include:

Monitor performance of SIA's information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.

Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across SIA to develop solutions for IT needs.

Act as Subject Matter Expert within SIA for development and maintenance of ERP software (IQMS)

Develop and implement contingency planning/disaster recovery plan.

Support processes and procedures within JSOX (Japanese version) compliance and ISO certification requirements.

Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of land line and handheld phone/data systems.

Monitor daily operations, including server, hardware, software, networking, and enterprise system.

Display an understanding of corporate and management process, and be able to clearly explain company policies, systems, and procedures.

Ability to clearly define resource (Human and mechanical) objectives and monitor/measure performance. Successfully lead a team to achieve timely and effective results.

Ability to interact internally and externally to an effective level. Includes written (Letter, fax, e-mail) and verbal (Phone, face-to-face, large meeting).

Capable of logically sequencing tasks within a designated time frame to produce a desired result.

Oversee the operation of assessing IT vulnerabilities and threats in the workplace and identify possible risks to the business.

Requirements
Requirements: Position requires a Master's degree in Management Sciences, Computer Science or Related Field plus 3 years (36 months) of experience working with an ERP Software. Experience can be gained prior to, concurrent with or after receipt of qualifying degree.
