Job description
The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth across identity management, endpoint operations, SaaS administration, and security tooling - with a proactive mindset and the ability to operate independently across a broad scope. The IT Operations Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for issues reported to the IT team, own day-to-day operations of critical infrastructure and business systems, and collaborate with team members to drive quick, lasting resolutions., * Serve as primary point of contact to support all computer and technical related issues for a global user base
- Maintain and troubleshoot systems including desktops, servers, VMs, and network equipment
- Administer and manage SaaS applications across the organization (e.g., Microsoft 365, Zoom, Gong, Calendly, ServiceNow, Jira, and similar platforms)
- Manage Okta identity platform including SSO integrations, SCIM provisioning, MFA enforcement, and application lifecycle management
- Manage and maintain endpoint management tooling (RMM, MDM, VPN, BitLocker/FileVault) across a mixed Windows and macOS environment
- Administer email security controls including SPF, DKIM, DMARC configuration, quarantine management, and message trace analysis
- Operate and respond to alerts from security tooling including EDR and MDR/SIEM platforms; coordinate with managed security providers on incidents
- Manage user provisioning, new hire onboarding, offboarding, and IT communications within the organization
- Create and maintain accurate documentation to reduce time to resolution and proactively identify potential issues
- Software and hardware inventory management
- Assist with Information Security compliance initiatives (audits, evidence collection, training)
- Contribute to scripting and automation efforts to reduce manual toil and improve operational consistency
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a sysadmin or IT engineering role with demonstrated ownership of production systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with all end users including remote and offshore contractors
- Methodical troubleshooting approach with ability to determine root cause and prevent recurrence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows (Windows 11 / Server 2016+) and macOS administration
- Microsoft Office 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
- Okta administration: SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, MFA policies, and application integrations
- Endpoint management: RMM tooling (e.g., NinjaOne or similar), VPN (e.g., GlobalProtect), BitLocker/FileVault
- Email security: SPF, DKIM, DMARC configuration and troubleshooting; quarantine and message trace operations
- Security awareness platforms (e.g., KnowBe4): campaign management and user reporting
- Azure AD / Federated identity (SAML, OAuth)
- In-depth knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP networking and associated infrastructure
- Backups and Disaster Recovery
- Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent job experience
- Networking experience (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points)
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar)
- AWS experience (containerization, serverless computing, microservices)
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with developer-adjacent tooling (GitHub administration, access control)
- Security tooling: hands-on experience operating EDR and/or MDR platforms (e.g., Carbon Black, Arctic Wolf, or equivalent)
- Agentic AI Experience (Claude Code / OpenAI Codex)
Special Requirements
- Occasional work outside regular business hours to perform maintenance on systems supporting a global workforce
- Shared on-call rotation
