Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the Information Security IAM Metrics & Reporting team. This role is focused on building, maintaining, decommissioning, and modernizing reporting solutions, with a primary emphasis on migrating approximately 400 reports from Tableau to Power BI.

You will play a critical role in day-to-day reporting operations, issue resolution, and responding to urgent leadership data requests. This position contributes to broader data transformation and modernization efforts, supporting a data-driven and highly automated cybersecurity organization., * Design, develop, maintain, and decommission Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Lead and execute migration of reporting assets from Tableau to Power BI (including Power BI Fabric).
• Support metric and data reporting from multiple data sources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data quality issues.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights as priorities evolve.
• Respond quickly to time-sensitive leadership requests for data and reporting.
• Contribute to large-scale planning and moderately complex software engineering initiatives aligned with the cyber data strategy.
• Support continuous improvement in reporting automation and standardization.

• 4+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent experience through work, education, training, or military service).
• 3-4 years of experience in reporting, analytics, or data engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including report development and maintenance.
• Experience with Power BI Fabric.
• Proven experience migrating reports from Tableau to Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills (Microsoft SQL preferred).
• Experience working with data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Python for automation or data processing.
• Experience with Tableau report development.
• Familiarity with version control tools (GitHub).
• Experience with workflow, documentation, and agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Experience using Alteryx.
