Requirements

u2022 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n \u2022 10+ years of experience designing and implementing software solutions across diverse technology stacks.\n \u2022 Experience working within or closely with an Enterprise Architecture or solution governance practice.\n \u2022 Solid background in solution architecture, integration design, and modern application patterns.\n \u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and recommend technical approaches.\n \u2022 Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.\n \u2022 Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\n \u2022 Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace.\n \u2022 Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across business, development, and infrastructure teams.\n \u2022 Technical depth in areas such as microservices, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and CI/CD practices.\n \u2022 Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Architect, Kubernetes, TOGAF) are a plus.\n \u2022 Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\n \u2022 Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.\n

The Solution Architect supports project teams by translating functional needs into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical designs across our digital solutions landscape.\n \n \nWhat you will be doing:\n \n We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Solution Architect with a strong track record of designing scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.\n \n As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for translating business and technical requirements into end-to-end solution designs that align with enterprise architecture standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural integrity throughout the development lifecycle and deliver value through well-structured, cost-effective solutions.\n \n \nPenske Responsibilities:\n \u2022 Design and document solution architectures that align with enterprise standards and meet business and technical requirements.\n \u2022 Develop solution-level design patterns, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and reusability.\n \u2022 Ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of systems through thoughtful architectural decisions.\n \u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align individual project solutions with broader enterprise goals.\n \u2022 Provide technical insights to support decision-making during solution planning and delivery.\n \u2022 Participate in architecture reviews and support compliance with architectural governance.\n \u2022 Mentor developers and junior architects to uplift technical delivery and solution quality.\n \u2022 Support the evaluation and integration of modern technologies and cloud-native services into solution designs.\n \u2022 Contribute to proof-of-concept (PoC) efforts to validate architectural approaches before adoption.\n \u2022 Advocate for lean and agile practices to streamline design and implementation processes.\n \u2022 Assist in aligning project outcomes with security, regulatory, and enterprise policy requirements.\n \u2022 Other projects and tasks as assigned.\n \n
