Job description

Reporting to the Team Lead, Finance Technology, this position will be part of the Enterprise Solution Management group within Central Information Services. The Senior Analyst, SAP Finance Technology serves as a subject-matter expert for IT Finance solutions, partnering with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to design, implement, and support scalable, compliant, and efficient financial systems. This role translates business requirements into SAP-enabled solutions, ensures system integrity, and drives continuous improvement across finance processes and technologies., * Act as the primary SAP Finance expert supporting modules such as FI, CO, and related integrations to other functions (e.g., SD, MM, Purchasing MM).

  • Partner with Finance and Accounting leaders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical SAP requirements.
  • Lead or support SAP implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and rollouts, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Design and maintain end-to-end finance processes, ensuring alignment with accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve complex system issues, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating with technical teams and external vendors as needed.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities by ensuring system accuracy, availability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, automate controls, and improve data quality.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices, standards, and governance for SAP Finance solutions.
  • Support audit activities by providing system documentation, control evidence, and subject-matter expertise.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical solutions implementation?, * A BS/BA degree in Information Systems / Computer technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting SAP Finance solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI and CO configuration and business processes.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting, controlling, and internal controls.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with Finance, IT, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment., * Minimum 5 years of experience deploying and supporting SAP ERP Finance and Controlling Modules or similar ERP solutions.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and migration projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Experience with working with reporting tools such as Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a regulated or SOX-compliant environment.
  • Industry experience in Consumer Goods Packaging and Manufacturing or Retail and/or eCommerce experience preferred.
