Job description

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or in-person assistance.

  • Assist in setting up and configuring workstations, printers, and other IT equipment for new and existing employees, ensuring proper functionality.

  • Respond to IT support tickets, documenting issues, resolutions, and user interactions in the helpdesk system to maintain accurate records.

  • Support basic software installations and updates, such as Microsoft Office Suite or CAD and other software used by Engineers, Surveyors, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Technicians, under guidance.

  • Assist in maintaining IT inventory, tracking hardware and software assets, and reporting shortages to the IT Specialist.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support digital platforms, such as uploading content to the company website or troubleshooting social media tools.

  • Help the HR team with basic HRIS system support, such as assisting employees with login issues or generating user reports, under the direction of the IT Specialist.

  • Participate in training programs to develop skills in IT support, cybersecurity, and system administration, guided by senior team members.

  • Seek feedback from supervisors to improve performance and prepare for advancement to roles such as IT Specialist.

  • Configure modern IT solutions for meetings or events, such as interactive displays, wireless presentation systems, or cloud-based video conferencing platforms.
