Job description
- Be the point of contact for tickets, phone calls, and email regarding IT issues and support
- Handle Helpdesk tickets through resolution or escalation and take ownership of issues with follow-up communication to the requestor of progress and status
- Log telephone calls to the Helpdesk ticketing systems, if needed
- Deploy PC hardware, computer peripherals, scanners, desk phones, and mobile devices (iOS, Android)
- Create accounts and configure network access rights as part of the on-boarding process
- Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office printers and computing equipment with outside vendors
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma plus 0-2 years of relevant technical experience
- 2 years+ experience working in a Windows environment
- Focuses on continuous learning to further IT knowledge and career development
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7, Office 2010, and Exchange 2013 mailbox
- Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook 2010 within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation)
- Basic User & Security Group Active Directory administration
- Basic PC network connectivity - Ethernet, TCP/IP and Remote Access VPN
- File server folder knowledge such as mapped and UNC Drives
- Experience with PC imaging software
- Solid problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications issues
- Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Windows 7 (MCSA)
