SAP Semantics Data Engineer / SAP Analytics Engineer

This is a hands-on, analytics-focused role supporting SAP S/4HANA reporting and embedded analytics initiatives. The position focuses on streamlining reporting processes and building scalable semantic models to support enterprise analytics. The role requires close interaction with SAP systems and involves a mix of reporting, data modeling, and analytics within S/4HANA, BW, and Datasphere environments. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity (6 months) with potential for full-time conversion., * Design and develop SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics using ABAP CDS views (analytical, transactional, and composite).

• Build and enable operational and analytical reports using SAP Fiori Analytical Apps, Query Browser, and KPI Modeler.
• Translate business reporting requirements into semantic data models aligned with S/4HANA core data structures.
• Develop and maintain standardized semantic models for KPIs, measures, and dimensions across platforms.
• Ensure consistency of enterprise metrics across S/4 Embedded Analytics, BW, and downstream systems.
• Document data models, transformations, and business logic for governance and reuse.
• Design and manage SAP Datasphere replication flows to ingest data from S/4HANA CDS views.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines, including BW data flows and delta handling.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data models.

• 5 7 years of relevant experience in SAP analytics, reporting, or data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
• Proven experience with SAP BW reporting.
• Experience working with SAP Fiori analytical tools.
• Background in semantic data modeling and enterprise reporting frameworks.
