Job description

Works under the direction of the Lead Safe Program Coordinator performing duties in accordance with the IDPH, HUD lead hazard control grant, and healthy homes activities. This may include a wide variety of required program administrative activities, such as providing information to the public and HUD/Healthy Homes participants, maintaining the waiting list, certifying eligibility, briefing applicants, and performing annual and interim reviews. This enables the employee to develop a relationship with the client and to act as a liaison during the applicant's participation in the program.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Grammar Experience?, Do you have a Trade school?, Associate's Degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school; and two (2) years of progressively responsible related experience, or, any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. IDPH Licensed Lead Risk Assessor License or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire. Knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently, including but not limited to: Windows based operating systems; Microsoft Office software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel; Presentation software such as PowerPoint and Canva; and program specific software as necessary. Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written as well as strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain working relationships with other numerous outside agencies, and the public. Must be knowledgeable in the proper use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Must have basic math skills and be able to process detailed information. Must have valid driver's license, proof of auto liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Must have problem solving skills to resolve billing discrepancies. Ability to maintain confidentiality
