Job description
BEPC is seeking a highly skilled Systems Test Engineer to support systems integration and testing activities within a regulated medical device environment. This role partners closely with systems engineering teams to identify software and hardware vulnerabilities, develop testing methodologies, and execute hands-on integration and validation activities., * Partner with systems engineering teams to identify software and hardware vulnerabilities
- Support systems integration and testing activities
- Develop and execute test methods, validation protocols, and Design of Experiments (DoE)
- Analyze digital sensor outputs and performance data
- Develop and maintain test beds and testing environments
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system issues
- Create and manage comprehensive testing plans
- Execute system-level and integration testing protocols
- Author detailed technical reports and documentation
- Manage the defect lifecycle, including collection, documentation, tracking, and reporting
- Utilize Python scripting for data analysis and automation activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and development teams to support project goals
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test Planning (Quality assurance practices)?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The ideal candidate has strong experience in test method development, troubleshooting complex systems, and analyzing digital sensor outputs in highly regulated environments., * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering and testing experience
- Strong experience with:
- Test Method Validation (TMV)
- Design of Experiments (DoE)
- Systems Integration Testing
- Troubleshooting complex systems
- Technical reporting and documentation
- Proficiency with Python scripting and data analysis
- Experience developing and executing testing strategies in regulated environments
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in FDA or FAA regulated environments
- Medical device industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience with sensor systems and digital output analysis
- Familiarity with hardware/software integration testing
- Experience supporting defect tracking and validation processes
Work Environment:
- Fully onsite role in a collaborative engineering and testing environment
- Hands-on work with integrated hardware and software systems
- Cross-functional interaction with engineering, quality, and development teams, * Bachelor's (Required), * engineering and testing: 8 years (Required)
- Python scripting and data analysis: 8 years (Required)
