Job description
The Universe Designer will focus on building the GRS Universe, which involves designing, building, testing, and implementing SAP BusinessObjects Universes. The project is centered on transitioning components from legacy mainframe platforms to modern environments, without involving data analysis.
SAP BusinessObjects Universe Developer - Responsibilities:
- Lead the initiative end-to-end, including status updates, time tracking, and coordination
- Collaborate with business partners and DAOP to gather requirements
- Build the GRS Universe
- Test the GRS Universe
- Create documentation
- Support implementation activities
- Train DAOP on the Universe structure, potential changes, and maintenance
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Universe Designer and Web Intelligence Developer
- Experience with SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, and flat files
- 5+ years of hands-on IT Application/Technical Support experience
- 2-3+ years of experience with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter or IDMC
- 2-3+ years in Data Warehouse/BI environments
- Strong understanding of Windows and Unix
SAP BusinessObjects Universe Developer - Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with accessible design principles
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
