Job description
The Network Administrator will support enterprise network and identity services within the Network Operations Center. This role focuses on deployment, operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication services. The position requires collaboration with IT teams and agency staff to ensure reliable and secure network performance across multiple locations., + Support enterprise network and identity initiatives, including SD-WAN, PKI lifecycle management, and secure authentication services

Monitor, identify, and remediate issues within enterprise network and identity services

Troubleshoot network connectivity on Windows-based systems and mobile devices

Deploy, configure, and support switches, wireless access points, and network solutions

Perform network installations, upgrades, and infrastructure lifecycle management

Conduct firmware, software, and security upgrades across network platforms

Manage and resolve tickets related to network, authentication, and connectivity issues

Create, maintain, and improve network documentation and diagrams
-
Coordinate testing and validation of network and identity solutions

Collaborate with Network, Security, Server Hosting teams, and other stakeholders
-
Provide technical support to IT and non-IT staff for network-related issues

Track tasks and provide regular status updates to the project manager

Follow change management processes and adhere to IT/security policies

Assist with physical network tasks including equipment installation and racking

Travel to remote sites across the state as required
Requirements

3+ years of experience with enterprise network infrastructure and LAN administration
-
3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting switches and wireless access points
-
3+ years of experience with SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication services
-
3+ years of experience troubleshooting network connectivity on Windows and mobile devices
-
3+ years of experience creating and maintaining network documentation and diagrams
-
Associate's degree in a relevant field or high school diploma with equivalent work experience

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on ladders

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to remote locations

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:

Network certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft (active or inactive)

Cisco Networking Academy or similar training/bootcamp experience
