Description of Work Bridges Analyst is responsible for integrating systems, developing, implementing, and supporting system interfaces between the Epic EHR and internal or external applications. This role ensures secure and reliable healthcare data exchange using industry standards such as HL7 and APIs. This position is responsible for supporting configuration and data interfaces through Epic Bridges. The analyst works closely with application teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to ensure secure and reliable data exchange across healthcare systems that support statewide public health and clinical services. Requirements
The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred. Proficiency in Epic Bridges with 2+ years of experience, including strong troubleshooting of application, database, Bridges, and interface issues. Strong hands-on experience with HL7, interface mapping, and interface engines such as Mirth Connect. Solid understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2.x, FHIR, CCD, X12), plus API and application development knowledge. Experience analyzing complex workflows and translating business requirements into system logic; effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of version control systems (Git), SDLC practices, and change management; able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
