As a Salesforce Engineer at Ford, you will design and deliver scalable solutions across Sales, Service, Data, and Marketing Cloud, translating complex business requirements into robust platform capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive integrations, automate workflows, and maintain platform health across enterprise systems. Additionally, you will contribute to technical planning, code reviews, and Agile delivery cycles to ensure high-quality, on-time execution. Responsibilities: What you'll do... Salesforce Development & Engineering
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
- Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and custom APIs
- Develop and manage flows, process builders, and declarative automation tools
- Architect and implement data models, sharing rules, and security frameworks aligned to enterprise standards
- Lead integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or middleware platforms
- Optimize platform performance, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices
Multi-Cloud Expertise
- Sales Cloud: Configure and enhance opportunity management, forecasting, territory management, and dealer/partner relationship tools
- Service Cloud: Build and maintain case management, omni-channel routing, knowledge base, and field service capabilities
- Data Cloud (CDP): Develop unified customer data profiles, data streams, identity resolution rules, and activation pipelines
- Marketing Cloud: Design and deploy customer journeys, automation workflows, Email Studio configurations, and AMPscript/SSJS solutions
Technical Program Management (Preferred)
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate roadmap priorities into executable engineering plans
- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery timelines using Agile/SAFe methodologies
- Identify technical risks and dependencies early; drive resolution with minimal disruption to delivery
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, solution design documents, and runbooks
- Serve as a technical liaison between business teams and engineering, bridging communication gaps with clarity
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related OR a combination of education and experience

5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience

Languages: Apex, SOQL, LWC, JavaScript, HTML/CSS

Integration: REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, event-driven architecture

Tools: Salesforce DX, Git, VS Code, Jira, Confluence

Clouds: Demonstrated experience across 2+ Salesforce clouds

DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, sandboxes, change sets, and deployment best practices

- Grade 7: $99,600 - $166,600
- Grade 8: $115,000 - $192,900
