What you'll be doing:* Resolving escalated hardware, software & network issues* Supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments* Troubleshooting infrastructure & performance issues* Acting as a senior escalation point within the Service Desk* Contributing to service improvement and documentation
Requirements
About you: Proven 2nd or 3rd Line support experience Strong infrastructure troubleshooting skills Windows and/or Linux server exposure Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools (ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus would be a bonus) Organised, solutions-focused approach with ability to manage multiple priorities and work well independently as well as a team Bonus points for if you have MCP, Comp TIA Network+, Microsoft 365, Entra, Exchange, PowerShell or ITIL certifications. It would be great if you also had some knowledge of scripting or automation (PowerShell) This role is ideal for: A solid 2nd Line Engineer ready for more 3rd Line exposure A 3rd Line Engineer who enjoys hands-on support Someone who wants to join a structured, growing financial services environment London or Sheffield 7-Month FTC Must have right to work in the UK
