Job description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines and transformations that power our analytics and business intelligence. You'll work closely with analysts and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality data products using modern data engineering tools and practices., * Design and build data pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Python to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
- Deploy those pipelines on our Azure infrastructure - mainly Azure Container Apps and Azure functions
- Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to transform and model data
- Develop and maintain data transformation logic using dbt (data build tool)
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure pipeline reliability
- Optimize data models and queries for performance
- Document data flows, transformations, and data lineage
- Collaborate with analysts to understand requirements and deliver data solutions
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Proven experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data modelling and query optimization
- Solid Python programming skills for data processing and scripting
- Experience building data pipelines in Azure Data Factory
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and best practices
- Experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to data quality
- Ability to write clear documentation
Useful experience:
- Understanding of dimensional modelling (star schema, snowflake schema)
- Experience with version control (ADO, Git)
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Understanding of data governance and data quality concepts
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience using LLMs for unstructured data manipulation and analysis
