UI/UX Designer

Mindtree IT Solutions is hiring a UI & UX Designer to create responsive, user-friendly web interfaces and digital applications. The role combines front-end development with user-centred design, involving the use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks alongside design tools like Figma or Adobe XD. You will be responsible for developing wireframes, prototypes, and customer journey flows, while analysing user behaviour to improve usability, accessibility, and overall digital experience.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

· Design, build and maintain responsive websites, digital portals and browser-based user interfaces according to business specifications and functional requirements.

· Develop front-end web architecture and interactive digital components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and relevant front-end frameworks.

· Produce user interface concepts, wireframes, prototypes, customer journey flows and visual interaction models for new and existing digital products.

· Analyse user behaviour, website navigation patterns and customer interaction data to identify and implement improvements in usability and conversion performance.

· Translate technical requirements, service needs and management objectives into scalable web interface solutions.

· Collaborate with software engineers, database teams, digital content teams and management stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of integrated online systems.

· Optimise websites and digital applications for mobile responsiveness, browser compatibility, loading performance, structured SEO compliance and cross-platform consistency.

· Develop reusable front-end templates, interface components and digital style libraries to ensure consistency across company systems.

· Conduct interface testing, browser testing, usability testing, bug fixing and deployment quality assurance prior to release.

· Maintain and improve existing customer portals, service dashboards, internal web systems and public-facing company websites.

· Ensure all digital interfaces meet accessibility standards, web security protocols and current front-end development best practices.

· Prepare technical records, UI specifications, implementation notes and maintenance documentation.

· Research new web technologies, user experience methodologies and front-end development innovations to support future projects.

· Provide technical troubleshooting support relating to website functionality, user display issues and digital interaction defects.

Do you have experience in Usability?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, · Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Web Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering, UI/UX Design, Digital Media or related discipline.

· Minimum 5+ Years' professional experience in web development, front-end development or UI/UX design.

· Proven experience in designing and developing responsive websites and web applications.

· Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

· Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind, React, Angular or similar frameworks.

· Experience using Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or equivalent UI design tools.

· Wireframing and prototyping capability.

· Responsive and mobile-first design experience.

· Cross-browser compatibility testing.

· SEO-conscious coding standards.

· Understanding of UX optimisation and customer journey design.

· Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital deployment processes.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of API integration.
• Basic understanding of back-end systems.
• Experience with analytics tools.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards., * Bachelor's (required)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
