Job description
Working on advanced technology products, you will collaborate closely with electronics and power supply design engineers to develop embedded software and digital control systems used in innovative, high-performance products., * Design and develop embedded software for new product development
- Implement and support digital control loops within advanced electronic products
- Maintain and improve existing production firmware
- Work closely with design engineers to ensure software meets technical and customer requirements
- Support software testing, design reviews and release control
- Contribute to project planning, estimates and technical documentation
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
Do you have experience in Embedded software?, * Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar
- Experience in embedded software / firmware development
- Strong C programming skills
- Experience with microcontrollers (PIC/DSP/TMS320 desirable)
- Understanding of embedded systems and control theory
- Methodical problem-solving approach
- Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
Desirable:
- VB.NET / GUI development exposure
- Power electronics or control systems experience
- Regulated or high-spec engineering environment experience
