Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Application Support in Alpharetta, GA to be responsible for the day-to-day support of wealth management technology related outages, collaboration on technology projects focused on stability, optimization, business impact analysis, and associated risk-related methodologies. Responsible for the overall stability of Wealth Management Investment Management application platforms, participation on key optimization initiatives, and collaboration with multiple technical teams. Partner with Wealth Management business units, management, and staff to collect, analyze, and make recommendations on optimizing the platform. Debug, conduct issue analysis and troubleshoot, and work with business and technical colleagues to provide reviews and recommendations to avoid any future application issues. Produce guidance documentation, standards and procedures, products assessments, and training material.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or related field of study. -Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Production Support; Project Manager; Consultant; or related occupation in the technology field. -Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:
- Java REST web services;
- Spring Boot;
- Angular;
- Informatica MDM;
- SQL queries;
- COBOL;
- JCL;
- ITIL; and
- SDLC.
-Requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills:
- IBM BPM and IBM ODM;
- DB2;
- TWS;
- Autosys;
- Splunk;
- Apica;
- Prometheus and Grafana;
- Appdynamics;
- Agile;
- Scrum;
- DevOps; and
- Wealth Management.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $177,000 and $177,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
