- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality telematics software applications and services.
- Collaborate with product managers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implement scalable and efficient code to support real-time data processing and vehicle communication.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software to ensure reliability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of software development best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and stability.
- Assist in the deployment and integration of software with hardware components and SaaS platforms.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with the 24/7 call center teams to resolve software-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with telematics systems, IoT, or connected vehicle technologies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS application development.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
