Requirements

u2022 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n \u2022 7+ years of experience as an Azure Architect, with a focus on hands-on implementation and maintenance.\n \u2022 Strong experience with Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep. Other languages/tools like Terraform, ARM templates, and/or Azure CLI are acceptable, but Bicep experience is preferred.\n \u2022 Experience designing and implementing Azure-based solutions for scalable applications and data platforms.\n \u2022 Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, and identity management.\n \u2022 Understands networking and architecture concepts such "Hub and Spoke" topology and Azure's landing zones.\n \u2022 Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and source control.\n \u2022 Integrated with observability tools such as Azure Monitor and Grafana or other 3rd party tools.\n \u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n \u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n \u2022 Azure Certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305, or equivalent) preferred.\n \u2022 Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\n \u2022 Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.\n

n \nShift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (Onsite 4 days a week)\n \n \nPosition Summary:\n \n Penske is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Azure Staff Cloud System Engineer to join our growing team. As an Azure Staff Cloud System Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure solutions within our organization. You will work closely with our product and data analytics teams to understand their business requirements and design custom solutions that meet their needs. You will be a key player in our growing Azure adoption and will help lead the charge in expanding our Azure offerings.\n \n \nMajor Responsibilities:\n \u2022 Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design Azure solutions to meet their needs. This includes:\n \u2022 Working with the DevOps Teams on application Architecture.\n \u2022 Working with the Enterprise Azure Team on standards and operational procedures.\n \u2022 Architect, implement, and maintain Azure solutions in accordance with industry best practices.\n \u2022 Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Azure projects.\n \u2022 Create technical design documents, test plans, and deployment plans.\n \u2022 Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.\n \u2022 Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within Azure solutions.\n \u2022 Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and trends.\n \u2022 Provide thought leadership and guidance to clients on Azure best practices and strategies.\n \u2022 Other projects and tasks as assigned.\n \n, u2022 The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
