Requirements

  • Direct Prelude experience or hands-on UniBasic / UniData / Pick / multivalue database experience

  • FoxPro, COBOL, Progress 4GL, RPG/AS-400, or similar legacy 4GL or character-based ERP background - and "still enjoys it" (Mike''s phrase)

  • Familiarity with multi-value databases or non-relational data structures

  • Python or other scripting for ad-hoc data extracts (current Prelude ? Azure pattern uses Python)

  • Basic Azure familiarity - connecting to Azure storage and uploading extract output

  • Prior work in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or heavy-equipment ERPs

  • Comfort partnering directly with business users to define data requirements field-by-field
