Job description
The candidate will join the IT Systems Section within the Computing Division, contributing to the administration of IT systems (including project management, installation, maintenance, and support) and assisting with user support for IT services., * Designing and implementing IT systems projects.
- Managing and maintaining existing IT infrastructures.
- Ensuring the proper administration and operation of assigned IT services.
- Running procurement processes to acquire the necessary equipment and services for maintaining IT systems.
- Providing technical support to end users, resolving incidents and service requests.
- Collaborating effectively as part of a team with other IT Systems Administrators., The merits will be accredited by means of the CV attached to the application. The selection board may require accreditation by additional documentation, originals or certified copies confirming the experience invoked in the CV.
In case of a tied final score, the position will be awarded to the person who belongs to the most underrepresented gender in the corresponding Division and subsidiarily to the overall company.
If necessary, alternates of the members of the selection board will be appointed by the president of the selection process, and the change will be published in the announcement.
The resolution of the selection procedure will be carried out within a maximum period of six months from the deadline for submitting applications for participation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator with a proven track record of supporting hundreds of users, ideally in an international environment. The ideal candidate will also have solid expertise in managing large-scale IT infrastructures, encompassing thousands of connected devices, hundreds of servers, and numerous end-user systems., * University degree in Computer Engineering or an equivalent qualification - final-year students may also be considered if they have completed at least 180 ECTS credits - or, alternatively, CFGS in ASIX (Administration of Networked Computing Systems)
Experience:
- 5 years of demonstrable working experience in administering, designing architecture or leading deployment projects in IT infrastructures with hundreds of networked devices.
The position requires speaking and writing English fluently (equivalent to C1 level). Selection Process Development
The selection will be carried out through the competition-opposition system.
As a first phase, an analysis of the curriculum will be carried out (assessment of previous experience and / or scientific history, degree, training and other professional information relevant to the position). Career breaks or variations in the chronological order of CVs will be regarded as an evolution of a career, and consequently, as a contribution to the professional development.
The assessment of the CV in the competition phase will be scored up to 40 points, which will consider the following aspects:
- Experience in administering virtualization clusters, including virtual machines and containers (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
- Experience in implementing and administering high performance storage cabins, including associated backup solutions (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
- Experience in implementing and administering high performance networks, with thousands of connected devices and low latency technologies like RoCE (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
- Experience in implementing and administering HPC clusters (at least 50 nodes) with heterogeneous user profiles and technical requirements (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
- Experience in administering desktop virtualization environments like VDIs and virtual apps (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
- Experience implementing and administering large centralized or federated authentication and authorization systems (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
- Experience administering commercial cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure or similar). Provider official certifications on cloud administration will be also considered as 1 year experience per certification (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
- Experience administering enterprise cybersecurity solutions, like global XDR, centralized anti-virus, firewalls, VPNs, secure remote access, anti-spam, DNS filters or similar tools (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
- Experience in user support, managing an IT service desk or participating as level 2 in an IT service desk (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
- Experience in public procurement (public tenders, public procurement frameworks (SDAs, AMs) (1 point per year of experience, up to 4 points)
The best rated candidates, at least two if possible, will be invited to an interview where the technical competence, knowledge, skills and professional experience linked to the position will be assessed, with a total score of 60 points. A minimum of 30 points must be obtained out of a total of 60 points to be eligible.
Provided they meet the minimum requirements and have ranked among the top five after the assessment of the CV phase, at least one person from the underrepresented gender in the division/office will be interviewed.
The interview will include at least:
