Senior Application Support & DevOps EngineerUK (Remote) | Up to £75,000Candidates MUST be a UK National and eligible for NPPV2 / Home Office Clearance We're partnering with a global software consultancy as they expand into the UK, following the award of a major multi-year programme with a UK Defence client. This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground level of their UK growth, playing a key role in delivering and supporting a high-profile, security-critical platform. The RoleAs their Senior Application Support & DevOps Engineer, you'll act as the UK-based technical lead, owning live production systems and working directly with clients in a secure, high-stakes environment.You'll be hands-on across incident management, system reliability, and DevOps improvements, collaborating closely with global engineering teams. What You'll Be DoingOwn and support UK-hosted production systems in a secure environmentAct as the primary UK technical contact for clientsDeliver L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisLead incident response and manage live production issuesImprove CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and operational processesWork closely with offshore Dev & QA teams to resolve issues and drive improvements What's important for this roleProven ability to independently support live production environmentsStrong experience in DevOps & Cloud (AWS/Azure)Experience in high-pressure, incident-driven environmentsSolid development background in .NET (C#), JavaScriptStrong SQL Server experience in production settingsUnderstanding of web architecture, APIs, and secure integrationsGood knowledge of database performance and optimisation
