Job description

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is part of the Infrastructure Team within the Corporate Services Directorate. This role is responsible for the administration, development and support of TPR's IT Infrastructure in Azure cloud and on premise.

The role will provide administration and support of BAU operations and technical support of strategic projects. Primary focus areas will include:

  • Microsoft Azure: Supporting and developing Windows servers in Azure (IaaS) and Azure PaaS services.
  • Configuration of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online.
  • Supporting other 3rdparty solutions including Forcepoint, Mimecast and McAfee EPO.

You will:

  • Deliver and maintain the technical infrastructure that underpins operational services.
  • Ensure tasks and support incidents are prioritised and resolved in accordance with business requirements.
  • Provide technical subject matter expert resources for business projects.
  • Provide onsite and on-call rota cover

Requirements

Do you have experience in PowerShell?, * Strong experience of developing and supporting Microsoft servers and enterprise core services (Active Directory, Exchange etc) as well as Azure deployments of these services.

  • Supporting other Azure platform components and associated troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrable experience deploying enterprise workloads to Azure with appropriate controls around backups, DR, monitoring and alerting.

Desirable

  • Azure certifications (Azure AZ104 certification or higher).
  • Proficiency with PowerShell.
  • ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certified with experience of working within OSA, SLA, Change Control.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise software products and services including licensing.
