Job description
The role is office-based across Torquay (2 days per week) and Plymouth (1-2 days per week), with the remainder of your time home working. As regular travel between offices is required, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential. Expenses will be paid when travelling outside your contracted office of Plymouth or Torquay.
What you'll be doing day to day
- Providing first-line IT desktop support to colleagues, both remotely and face to face
- Assisting with user administration, including setting up and maintaining accounts
- Building, configuring and maintaining end-user hardware
- Carrying out general IT administration, including asset tracking, licensing, purchasing and maintaining records
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in iOS?, * Friendly, confident, and approachable, with a strong customer-focused mindset
- Clear and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Well organised, with a good eye for detail when working with systems and data
- Broad interest in IT with solid troubleshooting skills
- An understanding of the importance of security and confidentiality in a professional services environment
- Experience or interest in areas such as Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Microsoft Teams, Citrix, document management systems, business applications and iOS mobile device support would be beneficial
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
