Job description
Redwood Beverage Group LLC is seeking a highly capable IT & Industrial Systems Technician to support both our corporate IT infrastructure and industrial control systems within a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. This role bridges traditional IT and operational technology (OT), ensuring reliable network performance across office systems, plant floor equipment, and legacy industrial platforms., IT Infrastructure & Support
- Maintain and support corporate IT systems including servers, workstations, and user environments
- Manage network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs)
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, user permissions, backups, and system updates
- Support Microsoft 365 environment including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Manage Azure / Azure Active Directory (including hybrid identity and conditional access)
- Support endpoint management via Intune or equivalent MDM platform
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across the organization
- Support ERP, production software, and internal business systems
Cybersecurity
- Own and enforce cybersecurity practices across corporate and plant systems, including patching, monitoring, and access controls
- Manage user access, identity, and permissions across IT and OT environments
- Ensure secure configuration of networks, firewalls, VPNs, and remote access
Industrial Systems (OT) Support

Support and maintain plant-floor automation systems including:
-
Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
-
RSLogix / Studio 5000
-
FactoryTalk View / SE / ME

Troubleshoot communication issues between PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and field devices
-
Maintain and support legacy industrial software systems and interfaces

Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams on system upgrades, troubleshooting, and expansions

Assist with commissioning and integration of new equipment and production lines
Industrial Networking

Design, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial networks including:

EtherNet/IP
-
DeviceNet
-
AS-i (AS-Interface)

Configure and support managed industrial switches (Stratix, Cisco, etc.)

Segment and secure OT networks (VLANs, firewalls, air gaps where appropriate)

Ensure reliable communication between control systems and enterprise systems

Diagnose and resolve latency, packet loss, or device communication issues in production environments
Cross-Functional Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between IT and production/engineering teams
- Document network architecture, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
- Support plant uptime by responding to critical system outages - including off-hours when required
- Support cybersecurity audits and customer compliance requirements
- Assist in long-term modernization of legacy systems and network infrastructure
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve reliability and efficiency
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, This is a fully on-site role based at our West Sacramento facility. Because our plant operates around the clock, the right candidate must be comfortable with schedule flexibility - including occasional off-hours response to critical system issues. If you thrive in a hands-on, high-uptime environment where your work has direct impact on production, this role is for you.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial automation systems (Allen-Bradley / Rockwell), plant networks, and legacy software, along with a strong foundation in enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity., Required
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems and/or industrial automation environments
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation systems (RSLogix / Studio 5000, FactoryTalk)
- Strong understanding of communication protocols: EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, AS-i
- Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
- Proficiency with Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP)
- Experience troubleshooting both IT and OT environments
- Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443)
- Ability to work on-site full-time and respond to production issues outside standard hours when needed
